Sweden's melodic Death/thrashers PLECTOR released the final video for "Overthrown" from the last album "Punishment Day" that was released on 31st October, 2012 via Discouraged Records and is distributed throughout Europe by Sound Pollution. The video was produced by Umeå based production company Standard Film Team (including band member Erik Engbo and former bass player Björn Algers) and is available below.
Of course, nothing is too expensive when it comes to PLECTOR last video ever. The band, who started in 2007, got a big buzz around their first video "Get Drunk Or Die Trying" and have polished their visuals through the years. With the 2011 release “Dark & Spiteful” they launched videos to the songs "Alcoholic Refuge" and Spiteful Love, two videos that landed the band two USA tours and festival shows in Germany.
With the release of their second album - a respectful and innovative homage to Thrash of the 80s and Death Metal of the 90’s - PLECTOR calls it quits. Looking back at over 200,000 views on YouTube for the bands official videos: "Alcoholic Refuge", "Spiteful Love" and their famous "Flann-Hell Videos" (tour video diaries) plus two hyped US tours, it is now over. And now the band introduces their final and most epic video ever.
