See Arkansas sludge Metal act RWAKE, before the release of their highly anticipated album "Rest" on September 24th, at Abbey Pub. The most prominent band of the Arkansas' incredible Metal scene and the Relapse Record's own, RWAKE, will be visiting Chicago this Saturday, September 24. It won't be their first visit; their highly anticipated new album "Rest" has been recorded here in the Windy City at the Engine Studios as a follow-up to their 2007 album, "Voices Of Omens". "Rest" has been recorded with a producer and engineer Sanford Parker (NACHTMYSTIUM, UNEARTHLY TRANCE) and has already generated a healthy amount of buzz. Still in its '"pre-release" stage, it became one of the top sellers for Relapse Records.
"Rest" will see its North American release on September 27th on CD, digital, as well as pressed on olive green and 180 gram black vinyl. Pre-order options for the CD and vinyl can be found here.
