CHICKENFOOT made the announcement via their official YouTube channel in a video starring Chad Smith.
Smith will be out on the road with RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS for the next year or so, and with a new CHICKENFOOT album due to be released in September it means that he can't tour with his supergroup side project.
So, he has recommended his friend Kenny Aronoff to fill in for him on the road.
