Heavy Metal cultists CASTLE are streaming the new track "Pyramid Lake" from the upcoming third album "Under Siege". The album is due out on May 16th via Ván Records in Europe and on May 19th via Prosthetic Records in North America.
The band comments on the track: "We're excited to unleash the next single from "Under Siege". This was one of the first tracks written for the album and along with "Temple Of The Lost" is one of the cornerstones of the record musically. The lyrics are inspired from an old Indian legend of Pyramid Lake near where we live in Northern California. The story goes the people of the tribe that lived around the lake would offer newborns to appease the serpent mother, the possessed spirit of the lake. It started from that and we put our own spin on it... I think the music adds to the story and helps weave the wickedness in a not-so-subtle way."
