MISS MAY I will release their ground-breaking new full-length album, "Rise Of The Lion", in North America on April 29th, 2014 via Rise Records (April 28th in the UK, April 25th in Australia). Showing no signs of slowing down, the band has released a brand new single, "Echoes", and a music video to accompany the song. Check the video below. Frontman Levi Benton states:
""Echoes" as a song means a lot to us and is filled with sadness. I feel this video really expresses the darkness and sorrow losing a loved one has on you."
Bassist and backing vocalist Ryan Neff adds: "The song "Echoes" is a very different track compared to the rest of the record, and everything else we've written, which makes it one of my favorites on the record. I'm stoked for everyone to hear this new tune!"
"Rise Of The Lion" is MISS MAY I's fourth album and the first to be produced by the legendary Terry Date (PANTERA, DEFTONES, WHITE ZOMBIE, BRING ME THE HORIZON). You can pre-order "Rise Of The Lion" in digital, physical CD, and vinyl versions, as well as special pre-order packages including exclusive "Rise Of The Lion" shirts, necklaces, posters, and more, via www.MMIRiseOfTheLion.com.
MISS MAY I were added in this year's 'The Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival' on Coldcock American Herbal Flavored Whiskey Second Stage. Ryan says: "'The Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival' is a tour MISS MAY I has been shooting for the last few years, and it's awesome to finally earn a slot!" "We have always wanted to be a part of the summer's heaviest music festival. Now we finally are, and we're ready for sweat, sunburn and headbangs", adds Levi.
In addition to performing at the 'Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival', MISS MAY I will head out on a brief headline tour of the United States this April and May, with support from FOR THE FALLEN DREAMS. MISS MAY I's 'Up Close and Personal' Tour will stop in eight cities, including a closer in their home state of Ohio at 'Rock On The Range'.
