Finnish metallers SKIRMISH have released their new music video "The Mirror Distortion" from the "Jet-Black Days" album, released on October 4th. The music video is made by Frozen Fruit Film and directed by Jouko Kallio and you can watch it below:
SKIRMISH released a new album to follow the 2011 debut "Through The Abacinated Eyes". The new album, "Jet-Black Days" introduces not only the band's new line-up, but a new more broad style of expression in the groups music.
The band commented: "Upon making the songs we didn't want to limit ourselves into a certain mold, but instead we tried out all the ideas we came up with, and a lot of them ended up on the album. Of course a lot of the ideas were wasted as well, but nothing was scratched only because of genre limitations."
"Lyrically we swim in deep waters. The album is not a concept album per se, but atop personal issues, the main theme of the album concentrates around the darker side of the world, and the rising of that dark side into the dominant element in our daily lives. The end of the world, running out of cigarettes, running out of everything."
