The Sunflower Jam charity has excitedly confirmed that DEEP PURPLE will be performing at Celebrating Jon Lord at the Royal Albert Hall on April 04th, 2014. Following DEEP PURPLE's hugely successful run of shows at London's The Roundhouse this month, fans of the band and of Jon, will get another chance to see them perform on one of the most iconic stages in the world, backed up by the 83-piece Orion Orchestra conducted by Paul Mann - just how Jon would have wanted it.
The stylish poster design shown below was created by Jon's son-in-law Al Cherrington before DEEP PURPLE were added to the bill.
The Sunfllower Jam is a charity founded by Jacky Paice, wife of DEEP PURPLE drummer Ian Paice. The charity passionately supports the research and application of holistic and non-toxic treatments for children and young adults suffering from cancer.
