Theatres Des Vampires - Moonlight Waltz

After the vampirism’s hurricane that deluges every form of art’s expression nowadays with the “Twilight” movies’ quadrology holding still the main role under the spotlight, it was time for Metal music to fall into the ‘vampires’ trap and the best representative for that ‘crime’ were the Italian gothic metallers THEATRES DES VAMPIRES that count auspiciously 17 years of life.

Calm Hatchery - Sacrilege Of Humanity

The Polish Metal scene has been producing incredibly good bands for many years now, and I never tried to hide that I am huge fan of their music. Bands like BEHEMOTH, VADER, DIES IRAE and HATE always manage to find their way into my daily playlist. When I saw that CALM HATCHERY hail from the specific country, I was more than glad to review their brand new album. And their music of choice? Death Metal of course!

Abysmal Dawn - Leveling The Plane Of Existence

The only reason I spend my time to review this album is just because of ABYSMAL DAWN, since the band doesn’t have anything to do with its label’s amateur attitude. What I got was a digital promo (yes, a folder full of shitty mp3 files) with a wrong album title and absolutely no info. Thanks for the respect Relapse!

Graupel - Am Pranger

If anything should look familiar in here, this should probably be GRAUPEL’s hellish throat Zingultus, who is known for being ENDSTILLE’s latest acquirement behind the microphone, or the last vocalist of the now defunct German Black Metal horde NAGELFAR. Despite his involvement in the two above mentioned bands, Zingultus has been the founding member of GRAUPEL, a band that has been spreading the plague since 1995!
