Stryper - The Covering

For some reason I can handle Black Metal albums full of blasphemy and destruction but I cannot bear the so-called White Metal ones. The only White Metal band that manages to avoid my personal barrier is STRYPER. It seems that the Glam foundations have managed to lower my defences and these long-time Hard Rocker made their way up to my vinyl collection.

Sparzanza - Folie á Cinq

It is really hard to keep the underground-band label after 14 years of existence with 4 studio albums by deciding to take a 1800 turn. This is exactly what happened with the Swedish ex-stoners SPARZANZA that we discovered with “Angels Of Vengeance” a decade ago and loved them in “Into The Sewers” and the HELLACOPTERS-esque guitars few years after.

Defiled - In Crisis

The very first thing that caught my attention was the incredible cover artwork this album features, which totally reminds me of some of my favorite 80’s b movies full of alien parasites, parallel worlds full of demons and surreal hallucinations. I hope the content of this CD will be equally charming...
